I have been dying to share these invites from one of my BFF's Jessica.... she made her own wedding invites, yes you read right...all 150 of them! If you would ask her if she would do it again, she would probably tell you NO; but boy was it worth it!! These are gorgeous, and fun, and SO different!!!

We are heading to Put-In-Bay, OH this weekend to celebrate her last weekend as a single girl, so what better time to share!!! 3 weeks until the BIG DAY! Can't wait!

It's {ALMOST} Fall Ya'll.

Ahhhhh, where did summer go?!?! I hate to break it to everyone, but it's almost September, which means its almost Fall, yesss, I said it. BUT the great news is... Fall is the BEST season for clothing!!! It's the only time of year that you can combine almost anything in your closet; maybe your denim shorts with your favorite cashmere sweater.... or possibly your favorite dress with a pair of those oh so cute fall boots...I just love all the possibilities of fall! They are endless!

Today is just the first of the {what to wear} fall edition;)!

All of todays look can be found at Whittaker House

Hope everyone has a great weekend, and enjoys these last couple weeks of Summer;)!!! XOX

DIY Cupcake Wrapper Banner

A EASY-PEASY DIY for you on this rainy Thursday! Honestly this is so easy and would be SO cute for ANY party or occasion! I can see LOTS and LOTS of different colors and options!

DIY CUPCAKE WRAPPER BANNER:

Need: cupcake wrappers(I used large, but the tiny ones would be an adorable cake topper banner), twine, & a needle

Step 1: Fold the liner in half and then in half again.
Step 2: Take your needle and pierce the bottom of the liner in your fold.
Step 3: Slide onto twine.
(Repeat all steps, until your banner is as full as you would like!)

Fly Away With Me... {Engagement}

I could not be more excited to show this session!!!

I met Lindsey on my first Craft Night (she came all the way from Crown Point), and we immediately HIT IT OFF! When I found out she was having a destination wedding, I kind of freaked a little bit; because little did Lindsey know I had an inspiration board for this very session already made up MONTHS ago, just waiting for the perfect couple!!!

So I had the couple, had the props(including the plane...haha, don't ask...just go with it)...all we needed was a photographer!!! Lindsey had LOVED Balee Images but Brandi had JUST posted a status about being booked, lucky for me(& Lindsey) she loves us and was totally in!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE PHOTOS!!!! Lindsey you are just SO stunning, and John you are not so bad yourself!;)

 They are going to mexico, I had to bring a piñata:)!

Build a Veil {Bridal Shower Fun}

Last weekend was one of my very best girlfriends bridal shower! Jessica's two sisters and step-mom planned the CUTEST shower!

I wanted to contribute in some way and with Jessica being the crafty girl she is, I had this idea to have everyone 'Build a Veil'!! It was super fun, and everyone did something unique and different! Bridal shower games can get so redundant, so I really love this option!!! Not only does it keep guest entertained, but it creates some good laughs too!

Thanks to Wendy Swanson Photography for the great shots!

You can really buy whatever supplies you would like! I went to the dollar store and picked up some clips and headbands...and then basically brought some tulle, fake flowers, lace, and pearls. (I also added feathers, but that was a super random hit, everyone wanted the feathers, who knew!?!)

I am actually wearing the veil my mom made... go big or go home;)!

LOVE this couple, and am SOOOOO excited for their September wedding!!!!

Recipe: Chicken & Pancake Bites

For every ATE Craft Night I try and make something fun and unique to snack on...

Last nights Chicken & Pancake bites were a BIG HIT! YUM, I could literally eat these every day! SO  SO good!

Need: Tyson Garlic Boneless Chicken Wings, Mini Frozen Pancakes, Butter Syrup, Red Pepper Flakes, Skewer Sticks.

These were literally SO easy!

All you have to do is bake the chicken and the pancakes at 400 for 15 minutes. Take them out, skewer them. Cover in syrup and sprinkle red pepper flakes on top!

Craft Night #4 {Succulent Monograms}

Last nights ATE Craft Night #4 was a HUGE success!!! I LOVE the way everyone's craft turned out, and what I love even more is watching people get excited about what they made!! I plan on posting a DIY tutorial on these fresh succulent monograms, but in the meantime you have to check out what you have been missing! We have SO much fun!

Thanks again to everyone who came out!!! And for those of you who didn't, DON'T miss next month!!
